CARDI announces its new courses and workshops for the first quarter of 2023
Workshops, conferences, and various courses are part of the training offered for this first quarter of 2023, which began with great enthusiasm with a Three Kings pastry for all the centers' beneficiaries. CARDI is a socio-sanitary project of the Augustinian Recollects in Mexico City, which this month announced the formation courses which will be offered. These courses are an essential part of its activities because they give volunteers a better formation for their service and attract new volunteers.
Workshops and Conferences
Thus, the first workshop offered through virtual meetings is entitled "Learning to make decisions for the wellbeing of my family". It began on January 17th and will have ten sessions afternoon sessions.
Its objective is to promote the development of knowledge, attitudes and skills aimed at personal well-being, the improvement of family and work relationships, as well as the optimization of economic resources.
The facilitator is Estíbaliz Valencia, a graduate in Psychology.
A conference was offered on the 19th titled "Logotheraphy: A life philosophy". Elizabeth Garcia was the speaker. It was a general introduction to Viktor Frankl and the legacy he left through Logotherapy.
On January 27, another conference titled "Tales of love, humor and horror for girls and boys". Benjamin Briseño who is a graduate in Dramatic Literature and Theater, oral narrator, storyteller and specialist in reading aloud will guide participants through this interesting stories such as: "The longest kiss in the world", "The dog that did not know how to bark" and "The legend of the Lonely House". It will take place from 10 to 11:30 in the morning (Mexico City Time).
Laura Ríos, who has a master's in Family Sciences and is an addiction prevention specialist, will be offering the free conference titled: "Addictions can be prevented". This will take place on Monday, March 6th from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The objective is for participants to understand how family dynamics can predispose children to addictions. Laura will also give some recommendations on how to avoid this to happen
The Diploma in Clinical Thanatology will begin on March 15th with a duration of thirteen months. Taught by CARDI's own team of thanatologists. Students will learn to listen and attend to those who suffer a loss, and offer a resignification through love through non-invasive, non-determining, solid and respectful bonds.
On March 30th, the online classes for the Diploma of Logotherapy will begin. This one lasts one year and it is endorsed by the La Salle Pachuca University. In its content it includes the theoretical basis that makes up Logotherapy as a philosophy of life, as well as the basic tools to apply to actual cases. Therefore, it has two parts, one theoretical and the other experiential, taught by CARDI logotherapists.

The Instragram account titled Madfoodiemx was founded in 2015 by Rodrigo Sierra, a graduate in Gastronomy and Food Sciences at CESSA University with certification from L'École Hôteliere Lausanne of Switzerland (EHL). He is a man who is passionate about gastronomy and the world wines. On his Instagram it is common to see posts about his travels and photographs of food and restaurants from all over Mexico. He has collaborated with national and international brands. Aware of CARDI's mission, he sent beneficiaries and volunteers the special pastry prepared for the Epiphany.
