The school year ends with joy and the scheduling of the last meetings with the parents and guardians of the students, the celebration of the Augustinian Recollection and the delivery of certificates.
On November 29, the Hope Center of the Prelature of Lábrea and the Augustinian Recollects in Pauini (Amazonas, Brazil) scheduled the last meeting with the parents of the beneficiaries.
On that occasion, the manager, the Augustinian Recollect Alfonso Lázaro, welcomed everyone, thanked them for their partnership during 2024 and provided notices of delivery of the final report cards.
Families are an essential part of the educational task and must act in coordination with the Hope Center so that the comprehensive education of the beneficiaries obtains the best results.
During the first week of December, the festivities of December 5, the 436th anniversary of the Augustinian Recollection, were used to provide special training on the Augustinian Recollect Family.
The beneficiaries learned more about the origin, mission and charisma of this Religious Family and then were able to wish the members of the Augustinian Recollects present in Pauini success in all their missions in the municipality.
The following day, December 6th, was the date in mind for the delivery of certificates by the computer science Workshop. There were 21 students who completed this course, who will now be able to apply the correct and active use of technological tools in their school life and in the future in their professional life.
The Hope Center wished the students a wonderful new stage in their lives, asking them to always carry with them the values, friendships and good times they gained during the time they have received education from the Hope Center.
Guests, family members, Augustinian Recollect religious, the institution’s staff and beneficiaries said goodbye to the Center’s activities until classes resume in 2025.
