The Comprehensive Development Support and Recovery Center (CARDI), a socio-health project of the Augustinian Recollects in Mexico City, offers several of these activities in virtual mode, so that they can be followed by Spanish-speaking people from all over the world.

Both at its headquarters in the Colonia Hospitales in Mexico City and in virtual mode, the socio-health project of the Augustinian Recollects in Mexico City has just announced the program of training activities open to the general public for the first two months of this year 2025.

The two training activities with the largest number of hours, the diplomas in Clinical Thanatology and Volunteering, will return to the classrooms on February 12 and March 7, respectively; The first will have online sessions on Wednesdays from 6 to 11 p.m., with a registration fee of 280 pesos (13 euros) and a monthly fee of 560 pesos (26 €).

For its part, the Volunteering Diploma will have virtual sessions on Fridays from 6 to 8 p.m. (always during Mexico City time), with a registration fee of 200 pesos (9 €) and 300 pesos per month (14 €).

In January, two workshops and a conference will be offered. The “Prevention of Chronic Diseases” Workshop will begin on January 16, from 5 to 8 p.m., with three virtual sessions at a cost of 430 pesos (20 €). Those who attend will be able to resolve the main long-term health concerns, identify risk factors and apply healthy lifestyle habits and proactive measures to improve physical and emotional health and well-being.

The “Goodbye 2024, Hello 2025!” Workshop will be held in a single face-to-face session on January 20th from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. With a price of 300 pesos (14€), it offers a first reflection on the evaluation of achievements, losses and experiences, as well as the best way to plan the new year by establishing clear and achievable goals. The objective will be to achieve a vital balance in the personal, professional and social areas.

The Conference “Eating Healthy: A Purpose for 2025” will take place on January 27th at 12 noon in virtual mode, with a price of 50 pesos (2.34€). It proposes practical tools for a balanced diet, knowing its benefits and how to apply strategies to overcome common obstacles in eating.

In February, it will be offered virtually and at a price of 50 pesos (2.34€) the conferences “Understanding the emotional needs of adolescents” (04/02, 18:00); “How to apply limits to children” (02/13, 18:00); “Knowing the twelve steps and their help” (02/19, 18:00); and “Volunteering: a way to make a difference” (02/28, 18:00).

The following workshops will also be available:

  • Codependency from logotherapy. Modality: Virtual. Duration: three months. First session: 02/06, 18:00 to 20:00. Registration: 55 pesos (€2.60). Monthly fee: 375 pesos (€17.55).
  • Rebirth in memory. Experiential grief workshop. Modality: In-person. Duration: four months. First session: 02/11, 13:30. Registration: 55 pesos (€2.60). Monthly fee: 375 pesos (€17.55). There is also an afternoon option starting on February 25 (7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.).
  • When the road divides: healing lost bonds. Modality: In-person. Duration: single session on 02/17, 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Registration: 300 pesos (€14).
  • My friend fear. Modality: In-person. Duration: single session on 02/20, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Registration: 165 pesos (€7.70).

Finally, a three-month course entitled “Socratic dialogue and somatics” is offered online, which begins on February 10 at 12 noon. Registration costs 185 pesos (€8.66) and the monthly fee is 375 pesos (€17.55).
