In an atmosphere of meditation and fervor, the members of the CARDI community: friars, Augustinian Recollect missionaries (MAR), collaborators, volunteers and beneficiaries gathered to pay tribute to the Virgin of Guadalupe, patroness of Mexico and symbol of faith and hope.
The day was marked by the mass presided over by Martín Luengo, vicar of Mexico-Costa Rica, and Refugio González, executive director of CARDI (Center for Accompaniment and Recovery of Integral Development, A.C.). The presence of the image of the Virgin of Guadalupe was a beacon of hope, inspiring those beneficiaries to keep faith and solidarity in their hearts.
“Am I not here I am your mother?” The reflection of the Augustinian Recollect, Refugio González revolved around the trust that the Mexican people profess in the Virgin of Guadeloupe. “Let us place our trust in it,” said González, “and let us remember it.” only on December 12, but more often.”
