The months of May and June at the Fray Luis de León School of Querétaro, run by the Augustinian Recollects, the first Communions and the Confirmations after a previous formation and catechesis offered to the students along the course.
At the Queretaro School, training is also offered to parents so that they in this way, they assume their mission as first educators in the faith of their children. For this reason, throughout the 2022-2023 school year, parents received three Eucharistic catechesis and concluded with a retreat on Saturday, May 20, in which about 110 families gathered.
It should be noted that this retreat was coordinated by the Augustinian Recollect David Molina and had as its guiding thread the Eucharist lived as an offering to God, for which reason the assistants carried out different activities that guided them to live their mission of parents as an offering to their children, highlighting the importance of attending Sunday to mass.
On the other hand, 34 high school families lived a family retreat on May 21 with the intention of consolidating their formation on the Sacrament of Confirmation. The retreat was also directed by Fray David Molina and had as its referential axis the accompaniment of God, the Holy Spirit to their families. dialogue, communication and Teamwork was a constant throughout the retreat.
The retreat concluded with the solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord, in which Frater David Molina urged attendees to “lift their hearts” to Christ who has ascended to the darling; In the same way, the baptized should have their hopes in heavenly life.
