The Boys’ Town, a socio-educational project of the Augustinian Recollects in Costa Rica, has sent a congratulatory message for the new year and encouragement for the new school year that shortly it will begin to its beneficiaries, workers, collaborating institutions, friends and benefactors.
We want to thank, first of all, God, for everything that in this year 2022 has given us allowed to live. It is especially grateful to have our entire community education with health and have kept us healthy and healthy throughout this year, even in half of the pandemic, even though we are already going through this difficult time.
We also thank all the beneficiaries and their families for the fact that they have shared in the Boys’ Town one more year of their lives. It hasn’t been easy, but in the end they have met many of the goals they had set after giving them the option to leave go ahead and take advantage of the year to leave the best prepared, ready for the life that awaits you in society, especially those who graduated this past course 2022.
We also thank all those who have collaborated in 2022 with the Boys’ Town, beginning with his most immediate collaborators, especially those who have given a little more than what was expected of them. Let them understand that the grain of sand they have shared is, in the end, a satisfaction of the mission well accomplished.
We also thank those who during this year have followed us through our media and social networks, a way of getting closer to each other, of getting to know our City and our Family. Thank you for your presence, your love, your company, your prayer, so that this work of God continues.
At the beginning of this new year we hope that you continue to be faithful to this institution so that all our beneficiaries take advantage of their stay here the same or better than they have done until now. They have our support, I hope it will be a year full of blessings and dreams compliments to all of you who have reached out to us.
We also hope that you continue collaborating with us and supporting us in the different Institutions that do so: National Children’s Board, Social Protection Board, Development Fund and Family Allowances, Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Public Education… As well as all the many volunteers who give us their time, their contribution economic, their material donations… This is a work of all, both the Government, the civil society, as well as the Catholic Church.
Our beneficiaries are the weakest part of society: that they can have that chance to get ahead. May we continue to count on all of you, with the good available to all students who in 2023 will live with us and that the Boys’ Town is a place of success for them, where their future is forged.
Welcome new year 2023.
