Historical summary, current situation and personal testimonies of Augustinian Recollect missionaries who have worked side by side and built part of their personal history at the service of the people of Tapaua, the Amazon, Brazil.
On the 1st of May 1965 the Parish of Saint Rita in Tapaua was built. It represents fifty years of shared history with the Augustinian Recollect Order, which will we present bearing in mind three aims: recognizing the work carried out; learning from history to improve the future from a more aware present; and to admire the witness of faith, life and service of those who have built up this Church.
